The financial amount of 25,000 rupees will be given girl. The State Brahmin development board will provide this amount to the Brahmin girls of Karnataka. Around 550 Brahmin families will get benefit from this scheme.

Besides, Karnataka Arundhati Yojana, the state government has also started the “Maitri scheme”. The main start of this scheme is to help the girls who belong to the general category. Under this scheme, if a Brahmin girl gets married to a priest, then the Karnataka government will keep them with financial assistance.
These girls will get rupees 3 lacs as financial assistance. This financial help is also given by the same Karnataka state Brahmin development board.

- The applicant must belong to a Brahmin category.
