ਮੇਰਾ ਘਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਸਕੀਮ: जैसा कि हम सभी जानते ही हैं कि हमारे देश में ऐसे कई घर हैं जो लाल लकीर के अंदर आते हैं. उनका घर लाल लकीर में है उन्हें किसी प्रकार का कोई भी भूमि से संबंधित कागजात बनाने की जरूरत नहीं होती है क्योंकि इसका कोई भी प्रमाण नहीं होता. लाल लकीर के अंदर जिस व्यक्ति ने घर बनाया है, उसी का ही हक माना जाता है.

इन्हीं बातों को मद्देनजर रखते हुए पंजाब सरकार ने मेरा घर मेरे नाम योजना की शुरुआत की है. पंजाब में जितने भी घर लाल लकीर के तहत है उन परिवारों को घरों के लिए मालिकाना किए जाएंगे. मालिकाना हक की प्रक्रिया पंजाब सरकार द्वारा आने वाले 2 महीनों के अंदर ही पूरी कर दी जाएगी.

शुरुआत में मेरा घर मेरे नाम योजना केवल गांव में ही शुरू की जाएगी परंतु इस योजना को शहरों में भी शुरू कर दिया गया है. राज्य सरकार सबसे पहले जमीन नक्शे बाजी करेगी तथा इसके बाद, लाल किला के अंतर्गत आने वाले घरों को मालिकाना दर्जा प्रदान कर दिया जाएगा. मालिकाना दर्जा प्रदान करने के बाद उन परिवारों को Property Card भी दिए जाएंगे, जिससे उनके पास यह प्रमाण रहेगा कि यह घर उनका है तथा उनके नाम पर है.
