Oasis Scholarship WB
In West Bengal, this scholarship scheme has been launched for the backward classes and tribal areas. West Bengal Oasis scholarship is not by the concerned authorities of the state government and this scholarship scheme is working under the backward classes welfare and tribal development department.
The government of West Bengal has started so many for the Welfare of students. With the help of this scholarship, students of low caste and tribal areas easily complete their education. This scheme is only for those students, who are living in West Bengal. There are many scholarships for students. We can apply for any scholarship. The student of the state who belongs to the dual caste and Scheduled Tribes category can apply for this scholarship. Eligibility Criteria for Oasis Scholarship
Before going to apply for WB Oasis Scholarship, You have to just read the eligibility once.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students
This scholarship will be given to the students of the 9th and 10th class who belong to the SC category. The yearly income of the family should not be above 2 lacs.
Pre-Matric Scholarship ST Students
The students of the 9th and 10th classes from the SC category. The annual income of the guardian should not be above 2 lakhs.
Post Matric Scholarship for ST and SC Students
The students who studying game post-secondary and from ST/Sc category are eligible for the post-matric scholarship. The annual income of the family should not be above 2.5 lakh.
Matric Scholarship for OBC Students
Students who are reading in post-secondary and belong to OBC can apply for this scholarship. The yearly income of the family should not be more than 1 Lakh.

Dates for Applying for Scholarship
Pre-matric and post-matric scholarships for SC and ST students, students can apply for the scholarship from May to November. Post-matric scholarship for OBC students, in this the students can apply for May to November to get the scholarship under the scheme.
All scholarships are started by the classes welfare department along with the state Government of West Bengal.
Amount of Scholarship Under Oasis Scheme West Bengal
Under the pre-matric scholarship for SC and ST students, the students of the schools will get 100 rupees per month for 10 months of a year they will also get an Adhoc grant of 75 per year.
The students who are living in hostels will get 750 rupees per month for 10 months and will also get a grant of 1000 per year.
Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ ST
- Scheme the students will get 550 rupees per month whereas the hostel students will get 1200 per month.
- For medical/ BSc Agriculture/ Mphill/LLM/Ph.D./ engineering students: Scholarship for the students will be given 550 per month and the students who are living in hostels will get 1200 per month.
- Photo general courses graduation level: The students will get 300 per month and hostel students will get 750 per month.
- The students of 11th and 12th class, polytechnic, ITI student will get 160 rupees per month whereas the hottest will get 260 per month.

Apply Online for Application Oasis Scholarship
- First of all, visit the official website of the oasis scholarship scheme.
- After that home page will be open.
- On the homepage click on “Students Registration”.
- A new page will be open.
- On this page select the district, where your institution is located.
- Now you will be on the next page.
- On this page, enter all the details. Upload your caste certificate for verification.
- At last click on the submit button.
- Now registration information will be on your screen. You need to Log-in with the help of a user password and id.
- Click on the login button. After that choose the option” online apply”.
- On the screen, you will find the Kishan form.
- Download the application form and enter the details, on the registration form. attach all the required documents vIT application form.
- You have to submit the application form to Block Development Office/PO cum DWO municipality corporation.
Renewal of Application for Scholarship
- For this first visit the official website of the scholarship scheme.
- On the homepage, click on “Renew Scholarship”.
- You have to log in with your username and password and enter your all previous and current details on it.
- After that, click on the “renew and lock application” option.
- Upload all the documents along with that and click on the submit button.
